Our 15 function rooms ensure that there is the perfect venue for every event and our team of visionaries ensure that each and every single event is executed with professional precision. The team will transform your vision into a dramatic reality, be it an eye-opening product launch, masked ball, themed banquet or vintage wedding reception.
Many of the banqueting and conferencing spaces can be separated by screens to create intimate rooms for meetings or small dinners, breakaway rooms or lunch and tea areas. A particularly dramatic venue for a function on a warm summer night under the bright African stars is our Roof Top Garden, a haven of green lawns, flower beds and shrubs, nestled between the two wings of the hotel and overlooking Africa Unity Square.
Weddings and Conferences at Meikles Hotel
At Meikles Hotel we pride ourselves in offering a truly five star, memorable wedding. Whether it is a sunset wedding ceremony on our Roof Top Garden, a magnificent buffet style menu or an elegant, yet intimate gathering – Meikles can offer it all. The Meikles Wedding Package includes a red carpet welcome, complimentary tea, coffee and homemade biscuits on arrival of guests, complimentary flowers, personalised place cards for the top table, complimentary Honeymoon Suite and Full English Breakfast for the bride and groom as well as complimentary Deluxe Rooms for the parents on a bed and breakfast basis. In terms of conferencing, each of our conference packages is inclusive of a delegate meeting venue which is available from 7.30am-5pm and you will be setup to your exact requirements. You can choose from a variety of conference venues and the following packages will give you an idea of what our team can do for you:
Full Day Conference
This package is available for a minimum of ten delegates and the conference venue set up includes mineral water, cordials and mints, LCD Projector, Screen, notepads and pens and a flipchart and pens.
Refreshments for the day:
On arrival: Morning tea, coffee and biscuits.
Mid-morning: tea, coffee and sandwiches.
Lunch: A buffet lunch in the Pavilion Restaurant.
Mid-afternoon: Afternoon tea, coffee and biscuits.
$35/Delegate
Half Day Conference
This package is available for a minimum of ten delegates and the conference venue set up includes mineral water, cordials and mints, LCD Projector, Screen, notepads and pens and a flipchart and pens.
Refreshments for the day:
On arrival: Morning tea, coffee and biscuits.
Mid-morning: tea, coffee and sandwiches.
Lunch: A buffet lunch in the Pavilion Restaurant.

*Please note that public address systems for the larger venues are an additional charge and that some equipment items are subject to availability. You can also customise your Conference Package by adding a few luxury items like specialty teas and pastries, flower arrangements and some special extras for your guests.
