Zimbabwe's premier five-star hotel, Meikles Harare, has unveiled a majestic US$8.5m restyling designed to restore its lustre to world-class luxury standards.
"This significant refurbishment of the entire prestigious North Wing and many public areas reflects our confidence in the future of Zimbabwe," said Meikles Hospitality managing director Karl Snater.
This revitalisation has included 132 rooms in the North Wing, an exclusive Club Lounge, majestic new Presidential Suite and plush exclusive boardroom to seat 10. This state-of-the-art wing includes a new kitchen and will be attended by five butlers and private Chef.
The Meikles flagship restaurant, La Fontaine Grill, has been extensively refurbished and the kitchen transformed into one of the most modern in southern Africa.
Consistently acclaimed as Harare's finest five-star hotel Meikles is a "by invitation" member of The Leading Hotels of the World, established in 1928 as the organisation to represent the globe's blue-chip properties.
